Job Introduction
We are seeking a high-performing Head of Sales to lead and drive the sales function at Audi Birmingham. This is a senior leadership role responsible for delivering outstanding commercial performance, leading large sales teams, and ensuring the highest standards of customer experience across the business.
This is a significant appointment within the dealership, offering autonomy, impact, and the opportunity to shape long-term growth.
The hours of work rotate between Monday to Friday and Monday to Saturday on a weekly basis.
Benefits include the use of a company car and an OTE of £95,000 (100% of target with enhanced performance rewards possible).
Role and Responsibilities
The successful individual will possess a positive, hands-on approach, with the ability to lead and motivate a developing sales team. You will be expected to achieve agreed sales targets for new and used cars, within defined operating and financial guidelines.
- Team Leadership: Leading, motivating, and recruiting sales staff to achieve KPIs.
- Performance Tracking: Driving sales conversion rates, profit per unit, and finance penetration.
- Stock Management: Overseeing inventory, pricing, and display for new and used vehicles.
- Financial Oversight: Delivering on sales, margin, and budgetary forecasts (P&L).
- Customer Experience: Ensuring compliant, high-quality customer service (FCA regulations).
About you
- You may be an existing Sales Manager, General Sales Manager or Retail Manager looking for a new challenge or better career and reward opportunities.
- You will have the drive and talent to push the department forward; working to achieve agreed KPI’s and brand standards.
- You must be able demonstrate a profitable and successful track record of delivering outstanding results as well as delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.
- In addition your need to have strong management and leadership skills, winning mentality and a real passion for the brand.
- Previous experience in a similar dealership role is preferred.
