Job Introduction
We are looking for a vibrant & engaging individual, with a track record of providing excellent customer service to join Land Rover as a Brand Ambassador. We are offering a very competitive salary of £27,000 basic, with £30,000 OTE based on client satisfaction. Hours of work are based on rotating rota of Monday to Friday 08:00 – 16:00 / 10:00 – 18:00 with a permanent day off in the week and working alternative weekends – Saturday 09:00 – 17:00 & Sunday 10:00 -16:00 (6-day then a 4 day working week )
You will be people orientated, with a desire to provide exceptional levels of customer service and satisfaction, with excellent communication skills and solution focussed problem-solvers who are passionate about going the extra mile for our clients. Having a history of successfully exceeding customer expectations is critical, as well as an ambition to develop your skills.
This will be a broad role, where no two days will ever be quite the same. You will be responsible for providing an end-to-end client experience that reflects the ‘Modern Luxury’ of our products. This includes wowing our clients with extensive product knowledge to meet their lifestyle need and providing ongoing aftersales service advice and support at every step of the client journey. In order to deliver this experience to clients, the role covers working across the Sales, Service and Parts departments to provide a comprehensive and professional service.
As this is a role for individuals looking to develop their career and take their customer service skills to the next level, you will also be enrolled into the Jaguar Land Rover Retailer programme where you will receive manufacturer approved training and development, as well as a nationally recognised Level 3 Customer Service Practitioner qualification. Additionally, you will receive mentorship from an experience member of the team throughout your training, and quarterly visits from your dedicated Assessor/Coach to review your ongoing progress. Working across all aspects of a modern, automotive business you will gain comprehensive experience in all aspects of sales and aftersales, that will open up a wealth of opportunities to further your career with Listers Group.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Greeting customers, discussing their needs and advising them on the most suitable solution. – Parts , Service or Sales.
- Highlighting any additional products relevant to the customer
- Processing orders and completing relevant paperwork, which may include carrying out stock checks using manufacturers’ databases.
- Updating customers on the progress of orders and contacting potential customers to update them about new vehicles and deals.
- Updating stock lists
- Arranging test drives
- Interpreting customer concerns and comments and liaising with technicians
- Booking/scheduling vehicle services
- Liaising with customers about any additional work required
- Estimating time and costs associated with repairs.
- Handling customer complaints
- Responding to customer requests
- Tracking the vehicle through the workshop
About you
- You will have a proven record of excellent customer service skills and ability to work with people.
- The ability to quickly establish and build rapport with our customers.
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
- A well-presented individual with a desire and attitude to succeed.
- You will hold a valid UK drivers’ licence.
