Job Introduction

Are you looking for a career in the field of finance and personnel? If so, then this might be the best first step for you, as we are currently seeking a Trainee Payroll Executive to join our small but busy payroll team. You will be working 39 hours per week.

We will provide all the necessary on the job training and will support you through your professional qualifications.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Have strong numeracy skills
  • Process payroll accurately and in a timely manner
  • Support the payroll function
  • You will help with the processing of the group’s monthly salaries from the administration of starters and leavers, statutory deductions, manual calculations through to dealing with payroll queries.

About you

  • Good education up to ‘A’ levels or equivalent, including GCSE Maths and English
  • Good communication and computer skills
  • Organised, logical and have accurate data entry skills
  • A strong attention to detail

The ideal candidate will be looking to build a career within Payroll. No experience is required if you are hardworking, professional, and willing to learn.

This is an ideal opportunity if you are just leaving full-time education or have gained some experience working in HR, finance, or an administration position. A full support package will be available to study for a professional payroll qualification.
