Description

We are looking for a passionate & talented Trainer / Mentor / Coach to assist with the induction and ongoing improvement of our Aftersales teams’ performance.

You will play an integral role in the creation and delivery of training and the development of our existing teams.  

This role will support a customer centric approach to delivering exceptional customer service and communication and is based at our Training Centre in Solihull. On occasion, the role will require attending locations across the group.  There could also be the opportunity for some remote working.

Reporting to the Group Learning & Development Manager, the person we are looking for will have:

  • Previous experience of developing and delivering first class training within an Aftersales environment is desirable.  Though applicants who can demonstrate a track record of high level coaching and mentoring within an Aftersales environment would be welcomed.
  • The ability to engage groups of learners at every stage of the learning process using a variety of exercises and discussion to embed learning.
  • Experience of working in a learning department with a focus on achieving set qualification standards & targets within an accredited environment is desirable,
  • A genuine interest and passion for the automotive industry, keeping abreast of developments both within the brands represented by Listers and its competitors.
  • Practice in maintaining CPD Records.
  • IT Skills – The successful candidate will be required to design, create and present e-Learning materials and therefore requires excellent computer skills and the confidence to appear in video presentations.  Training for e-Learning software will be provided but the candidate would be expected to demonstrate an existing competence with general software packages, especially Microsoft Office.

To be considered for this role, you should have previous experience as an Aftersales Trainer, ideally in the motor trade. Alternatively you may be an Aftersales, Service or Assistant Service Manager looking to take your first step in to training.
