Job Introduction

We are currently recruiting for a Trainee Brand Specialist to join our SEAT Dealership in Coventry. The hours of work are between 8.30am to 6.30pm Monday to Friday, and working weekends on a rota basis.

As a Trainee Brand Specialist, you will be responsible for engaging customers with the latest SEAT products and technologies. As part of the sales team you deliver presentations of our products and vehicles, showing an outstanding knowledge and understanding of all things SEAT.

Don’t worry if you’re not a SEAT expert right now – our comprehensive training programme will teach you everything you need to know to become a SEAT Trainee Brand Specialist.

Role and Responsibilities

  • To create and maintain a positive customer-friendly sales environment.
  • To offer and promote the value of all new and used vehicles in line with Listers and the brand’s trading policies
  • To always be prepared to receive and welcome new customers’ enquiries (via telephone, walk-in, e-mail and LiveChat)
  • To guide and inform the customer whilst being able to give a competent and enthusiastic presentation of all of the vehicles within the product range
  • To achieve a high level of customer satisfaction

About you

  • You don't need to be from the motor industry; however you will have a proven record of excellent customer service skills and ability to work with people.
  • The ability to quickly establish and build rapport with our customers.
  • You will hold a valid UK drivers licence.
  • You may have previous motor trade experience (preferred), but ultimately hold the potential to forge a successful career in the industry.
