Job Introduction                 

Due to consistent growth in sales of hybrid cars and with the imminent launch of new Toyota models, we are currently looking to recruit a Part-time Sales Advisor to join our successful team at our Toyota dealership in Coventry. Your working hours will be Friday & Saturday 08:30 – 18:30 & Sunday 09:00 – 17:00. For the right candidate we will also consider someone who is only available to work Saturdays & Sundays. 

This is a unique opportunity for somebody looking to get into car sales on a part time basis.

As a Sales Advisor, you will be responsible for engaging customers with the latest Toyota products and technologies.

As part of the sales team, you will be a first point of contact to our customers, welcoming them into our showroom or responding to telephone or online enquiries. You will deliver presentations of our products and vehicles, showing an outstanding knowledge and understanding of all things Toyota.

You will also be responsible for promoting our new release models at various events and other retail environments that we use to promote our products.  

Role and Responsibilities

  • To create and maintain a positive customer-friendly sales environment.
  • To offer and promote the value of all new and used vehicles in line with Listers and Toyota trading policies.
  • To always be prepared to receive and welcome new customers’ enquiries (via telephone, walk-in, e-mail and Live Chat)
  • To guide and inform the customer whilst being able to give a competent and enthusiastic presentation of all the vehicles within the product range.
  • To achieve a high level of customer satisfaction

About you

  • You do not need to be from the motor industry; however, you will have a proven record of excellent customer service skills and ability to work with people.
  • The ability to quickly establish and build rapport with our customers.
  • You will hold a valid UK driver’s licence.
  • You may have previous motor trade experience (preferred), but ultimately hold the potential to forge a successful career in the industry.
