Description

An opportunity has arisen within the Head Office accounts team based near Stratford-upon-Avon.

This varied and interesting role may include:

• Coding and posting purchase invoices and credit notes (including allocation of central billing to individual sites).

• Supplier statement reconciliations.

• Payment runs and ad hoc cheques.

• Maintaining effective relationships with suppliers to ensure prompt resolution of any queries or issues arising.

• Checking expenses and petty cash claims.

• Management of group petrol cards.

• Distribution of daily post and banking cheques received.

• Other ad hoc duties and requests.

The successful candidate will have a friendly, confident personality, good communication skills in order to liaise at all levels both internally and externally, the ability to work within a team as well as under their own initiative and the ability to work under pressure to achieve strict month end deadlines.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working in a purchase ledger role in a busy accounts department and a good level of computer literacy (especially Microsoft Office applications).
