We are currently looking to recruit a Toyota & Lexus Cars Sales Controller who will be responsible in aiding the Sales Manager to support the Sales team in daily operations in such a way to maximize sales.

This will include aiding the Sales Manager in appraising staff training needs and coach staff as required. You will be expected to achieve agreed sales target for new & used cars, within defined operating and financial guidelines.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Customer Satisfaction (CSI): You will build trust, communicate effectively and exceed our customer’s expectations, In essence you will ensure that our customers buying experience is industry leading. You will also be accountable for handling customer queries and complaints and ensure they are resolved effectively.

• Maximising Opportunities: To support the sales team in daily operations including but not limited to customer contact, sales deal building and closing and vehicle preparation while ensuring the correct level of stock is kept to the company’s agreed level.

• Maximising Profit: By driving the sales process and supporting the sales team in achieving their monthly KPI’s for unit sales, profit per unit, finance penetration and add-on products within new & used Cars. Carry out accurate appraisals of all vehicles presented in part-exchange and to agree valuations with the Sales Manager and complete satisfactory negotiations with potential customers to maximise sales. To ensure budgetary sales / profit forecasts are achieved, and monitor departmental performance.

• Data Quality and FCA Compliance: Ensure accurate completion of all sales paperwork and providing reports as required on all sales activities ensuring accurate sales forecasts. Making sure that the sales team accurately and vigorously collect all customer contact and vehicle data in order to maximise the quality and content of the customer database (adhering to the Company’s FCA obligations).

What we’re looking for:

• The successful applicant will have gained experience in new & used car sales and is now looking to Listers Group for better rewards and better promotion opportunities.  You may currently be a Car Sales Controller, Retail Manager or a Car Sales Executive looking for your first step into management.

• You will also possess a valid driving licence and be willing to work between 8.30am and 18:00pm Monday – Saturday as well as working every other Sunday with a day off in the week.

The successful person will be supported for the first 6 months, receiving guaranteed monthly earnings equivalent to a minimum of £55,000 a year salary. The 6 month period will help towards supporting you while you are settling in to your new role. Long term your earning potential will be much higher.
