An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Trainee Digital Designer to join the Marketing team based at our Head Office in Stratford-upon-Avon.

Role summary:

To provide accurate and efficient support to our busy Marketing team. Your role will primarily involve working alongside the other designers on a wide variety of projects from small amends and fast turnaround print work to web banners and email design that cover all visual communications across the Group.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting the Head of Design in creating sales and marketing collateral for over 40 dealerships – this could include email campaigns, corporate brochures, posters, leaflets, signage, pop-up stands, banners etc.  
  • Liaising closely with Marketing Managers.
  • Ensure all artwork produced meets the relevant needs, requirements and brand standards.

Requirements

Training will be given but the following would be advantageous:

  • Ideally previous experience in a design related role.
  • Natural design talent with a flair for a typography and/or illustration.
  • Typographic and layout skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and confidence interacting at all levels.
  • The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
  • Some HTML knowledge.
  • Apple Mac based working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite; Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Illustrator, Acrobat etc. QuarkXpress, Word, Excel and PowerPoint plus a working knowledge of social media outlets would be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of reprographic and printing processes.
  • Excellent organisational skills and detail oriented with the ability to multitask.
  • Keep up to date with the latest group brand guidelines.
  • A recognised qualification in Graphic Design or similar.
  • A flexible working attitude, someone who is willing to go the extra mile to contribute to the team.

Working hours:

  • The hours of work for the role will be 8:30am – 5:30pm from Monday to Friday.
