An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Technician / Workshop Controller to join our Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles Dealership in Coventry.
This is a hands on dual role, providing experience in the workshop as well as supervisor other team members, a great opportunity for someone looking for a new challenge and progress into management.
Working hours are Monday to Thursday, between 2pm till 12:30am.
You will also be required to works Saturdays on a rota basis, 1 in 4, from 8:30am until 4pm.
Description
- Service & maintenance of customer vehicles, as well as preperation of used cars for the sales department.
- Delegating workloads to technicians.
- Liaising with the Service Department.
- Managing the workflow of all jobs to brand standard.
What we're looking for:
• This role would ideally suit someone who has previously worked within a dealership as either a Senior Technician, Workshop Foreman or Workshop Controller and are looking to Listers for more opportunities to progress.
• Unlimited confidence, resilience, drive, energy and talent.
• A well-presented individual with a desire, character and attitude to succeed.
In addition to workshop control you will ideally have an understanding of warranty procedures and health and safety regulations.
The ideal candidate will have gained experience in a similar role or conceivably as a second in command.
