Description

This is an interesting and challenging position within our IT department.  

Responsibilities will include the installation and maintenance of the IT infrastructure and the provision of end-user support. The role will also involve working on specific projects.

Key tasks:

• Assisting in the development and improvement of the IT infrastructure within the group.

• Providing assistance to 2000 PC users and managing any issues to a successful resolution.

• Administering the routine operations of the computer network.

• Installing licensed software, IT equipment and related hardware.

• Providing initial diagnosis and rectification of IT related issues including escalation within the department or with external bodies where appropriate

.• Managing defined projects to improve and enhance the IT infrastructure and service.

Qualifications & skills:

• Good knowledge of windows 7 / 10.

• A good working knowledge of networks including TCP/IP and of PC configuration.

• An analytical approach to problem solving.

• Ability to communicate effectively with users with different levels of IT literacy.

• Some knowledge of Active Directory would be an advantage.

 Working hours are Monday to Friday 9am - 6pm.
